This recently constructed cottage in a rural setting was the best property we stayed at during our 6-week UK trip. The views of the Skye landscape and River Snizort were magnificent. Margaret and Graeme, the hosts, were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring Skye, with beautiful views and convenient access to shops and attractions. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay longer if possible. Thanks, Graeme and Margaret, for an excellent stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful 7-day stay at Poachers Bothy, the perfect base for exploring Skye's stunning landscapes. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with beautiful views over the valley and a cozy atmosphere. The hosts, Graeme and Margaret, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the little welcoming gifts were a lovely touch. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily visit Portree for shopping and dining while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. The cottage had everything we needed, including a handy drying bench for our wet shoes. We would highly recommend this gem of a property.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved the nearby hiking trails, especially when I accidentally got lost for hours. Private parking was a lifesaver for the map-reading challenged like me. And the free WiFi? Well, it made getting directions to the hiking trails so much easier.
Oh, and let's not forget the thrill of trying to operate the toaster without any instructions. It's like a little guessing game every morning.

The cozy cottage was a perfect choice for our romantic escape. We loved the stunning surroundings and tranquil atmosphere. It was strategically located, allowing us to easily explore the whole island. The nearby shops, petrol station, and town center were just a short drive away, making it convenient for us to find everything we needed. The cottage itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and it had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Plus, the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Though we had a wonderful stay overall, there was one small issue we encountered. We initially had some trouble understanding the floor heating system in the cottage.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a charming farm cottage on the Isle of Skye. the location was absolutely perfect, allowing me to easily explore all the stunning beauty the island has to offer. From the cottage, I had breathtaking views of the landscape, with sheep and cows dotting the fields below. the hosts of the cottage were incredibly welcoming and provided a warm and comfortable environment for my stay. the cottage was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
One minor drawback was that there were no clear instructions for the floor heating, which took a little time to figure out.
